The garden of Val and Vern Lewis in Orange Street has evolved over the past forty seven years.
Though small in area, there is much to see and Val admits her interest is not in landscaping but is all about the plants and propagating.
“I get a great deal of pleasure from having success with plants that are not supposed to grow out here. My love of floral art contributes to the colour, structure, shape and most of the foliage in my garden. ”
Prize winning camellias thrive and bloom on the eastern wall, and every nook and cranny has something for the garden lover.’
